Welcome to the 2007 – 2008 Archery Indoor Season. We have a few changes this year that we hope will provide an improved archery experience for archers. 1) The season has been split into 3 parts, spreading the cost for the season into smaller parts allowing 3 opportunities for archers to join. 2) There will be 2 classes each Saturday, a class for the more advanced archers and one for beginning and intermediate archers. 3) A new Lincoln Bowmen Archery team that will compete at local and national tournaments. 4) Fund raisers will help us to pay the expenses for archers to compete at the Indoor Nationals in Louisville, KY. 5) Cost for each piece of the season is calculated per week, per student - $5 for LB members with their own equipment, $7 for LB members using YAP equipment and $10 for all non-members. Total cost for each session is listed below. You may pay for the entire season at once or individual sessions. Payment for each session must be made on or before the first class.
Below are links to the Registration form, orientation documentation and a tentative calendar for the season. Registration for our first session is scheduled for Saturday, October 6 at 10AM, with the first class at Saturday, October 13. If you cannot attend on October 6, you may register at the first class session on October 13. You can pre-register before 10/6/07 by sending your registration form and payment to the address listed below. Please make checks payable to Lincoln Bowmen Archery Club. I am looking forward to a great season! Please fell free to contact me via email or phone. Sherry Lance YAP Archery Chairperson 313-477-5356 - cell 734-281-6533 - home 313-234-1980 - work

| This year's program will be split into two session similar to last year - a Fall session and a Winter session. Class size for the Winter Session will be limited. To ensure fairness to all Lincoln Bowmen members, past students and prospective new students the YAP Committee is going to register students using the following priority system:
Pre-registration is available to all families who participated in last year's program who are also Lincoln Bowmen members. You can pre-register by contacting one of the YAP Committee members prior to the Orientation weekend. The class size limit was put in place to benefit those participating in the program. It is meant to ensure all students receive the proper level of coaching and attention while maintaining a safe environment for your children. Unfortunately this means we may have to turn away some students. If you are not a Lincoln Bowmen member and have not participated in the past, it might be best for your children to attend the orientation without them. We anticipate having more interested families (students) than we can accommodate and will most likely have to turn some students away. This could be a disappointment for some kids. We encourage all families to attend the orientation session. Here you can learn more about the program, met the coaches and ask questions. Coffee and donuts for the parents will be provided. During orientation you will learn more about the planned activities for this year. There will be no open shooting or coaching available during the orientation. |
