Becoming Lincoln Bowmen Archery Club Member

Lincoln Bowmen Archery Club (LBAC) is a non-profit, private club with a working membership.  LBAC membership terms are for 12 consecutive months beginning on the day of approval by the Board of Directors.  An LBAC membership is a family membership that includes the member, their spouse and their children under the age of 22 that reside in the same household.

Membership dues for the first year are $185.00, which includes a one-time initiation fee of $10.00.  After the first year of membership, members that are 55+ years of age are eligible for senior memberships at a reduced rate.  LBAC requires members to work a minimum of 15 hours per year including one major event.  Members who do not meet the minimum work hour requirement will pay a higher annual membership renewal fee.  Lifetime members do not pay renewal fees, however, active Lifetime members are also required to contribute 15 work hours including one major event to maintain access to the club house.  Membership renewal rates are as follows.

New Members

Upon signing up for a New Membership, it's required to attend the next board meeting to acquire your work card and gate code. Board meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm (unless otherwise noted on the calendar).

Work hours may be accumulated in a variety of ways such as general maintenance around the club or working at special events.  Work parties are held on Saturdays where members can assist project leaders with everything from general yard work to major target and club house rebuilding projects.  The list of ongoing work projects is posted inside the clubhouse, on the board outside the club house and on the barn door.  Work hours are recorded on official work cards and must be signed by a club director.  Lincoln Bowmen works on the honor system, so a director does not need to be present at the time the work is performed.  Members record the task and hours worked at the time the work is performed, then ask a director to sign as soon as possible.   Lifetime work cards are to be turned in by September 30th of each year.

For information regarding a new membership or renewal of an existing membership, contact Brian by visiting the Our Board page.  Renewals may also be sent via US Mail, including the renewal form, check or money order payable to Lincoln Bowmen Archery Club and member work card.
